## 2024 – present — Senior Staff Software Engineer, Udemy

Led the backend development of the Skills Mapping Service for Udemy's AI-Powered Learning Path — scaling to support 6 languages and meeting all initial targets shortly after launch. Also shaping the Reporting & Insights domain for Enterprise B2B clients alongside a senior team, contributing to technical design, data pipelines, and cross-functional collaboration across three continents.

## 2022 – 2024 — Senior Software Engineer, Udemy

Technical lead for the Skills Guidance Service — the foundational backend platform for Udemy's skills-based products, implemented with Hexagonal Architecture. Architected the AI-driven test code generation infrastructure for Automated Lab Review, measurably boosting Lab usage. Also designed the authorization architecture for Udemy Labs and established its Kubernetes/AWS infrastructure.

## 2020 – 2022 — Senior Expert Developer, Turkcell

Built and maintained critical modules for SOL Maya — Turkcell's SuperOnline CRM used by call centers, retail stores, and technical teams to manage device logistics for millions of subscribers. Rapidly developed pandemic-driven features to ease internet device delivery and installation for high-risk customers. Led code reviews, mentored junior developers, and won the CXO Award in 2020.

## 2018 – 2020 — Team Lead, KG Teknoloji

Led a cross-functional team of six — frontend, backend, iOS, and Android developers plus an analyst — across the full project lifecycle for consulting clients. Mentored every team member, all of whom were subsequently promoted to Team Lead. Maintained active hands-on development throughout, and later expanded into an IoT & Mobile Application Group Manager role during an organizational transformation.

## 2015 – 2018 — Full Stack Developer, Nevalabs

Worked full-stack on Corvo, a distributed face recognition and security system — building backend services with real-time communication capabilities and integrating diverse facial recognition algorithms. Contributed across the full product lifecycle, from prototype development to first customer deployment.

## 2013 – 2015 — Software Engineer, Turkish Ministry of Health

Part of the founding 5-member team that built a national healthcare system from the ground up, eventually scaling to 30+ engineers. Led development of the Stock Management Module and managed complex web service integrations across internal and external systems.
