Privacy

This is a personal, static website. It has no accounts, no login, no comment system, no newsletter, no advertising and no third-party trackers beyond the two analytics services described below. There is nothing here for you to sign up to, so there is no personal data for me to store about you.

Analytics: the site uses Vercel Web Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights, provided by Vercel Inc., which hosts the site. These collect aggregate, privacy-friendly usage data — page paths, referrers, country, device and browser type, and page-performance timings. They do not use cookies, do not fingerprint visitors, and do not build cross-site profiles. I see counts and trends, never individual visitors.

Server logs: as with any website, Vercel processes standard request data (IP address, user agent, requested path) in order to serve pages and protect the service. I do not have access to a durable log of these requests and do not use them for analytics.

Cookies: this site sets no cookies. Your theme preference (dark or light) is stored in your browser's localStorage on your own device and is never sent to a server.

Email: if you email me, I keep that correspondence in my mailbox for as long as it is useful, and I use your address only to reply to you. I do not add correspondents to any mailing list and I do not share addresses with anyone.

Your rights: if you are in the EU/EEA, the UK, or California, you have rights of access, correction, deletion and objection over personal data relating to you. Because this site stores no personal data itself, in practice that means email correspondence — write to the address on the contact page and I will act on any such request.

Changes: if this policy changes in a way that matters, the updated version will replace this page. This version is current as of the site's most recent deployment.
